Building upon the success of our inaugural event last year, we proudly announce the 2nd Annual ISTEK Schools International ELT Conference which will be held on 2 - 3 April 2011 at Yeditepe University in Istanbul.
This year’s conference promises to be another vibrant and remarkable celebration of shared excellence and engaging presentations. Educators from here and abroad will gather under the banner, “Reflections and Innovations in ELT” . We will explore the notion that, as teachers today, we first recognize from where it is that we’ve arrived before moving assuredly forward into tomorrow’s challenging educational world. Like an artist before a blank canvas, carefully weighing the first bold stroke of colour, we will reflect upon the creation and meaning of our vivid self-portraits as contemporary ELT practitioners.
Drawing upon the special insights and experiences of an international roster of invited speakers and workshop presenters, our colourful conference will offer participants a truly unique professional development opportunity that should not be missed!
